\"Reptiles\"A lot of the problems that you may see with reptiles come from their husbandry, so how they are kept and mainly their food, so their diet<\/a>. It is really important to understand, before you even get a reptile, to understand what you need to buy equipment<\/a> wise and how prepared you need to be for their diets. It is not as simple as looking after dogs and cats.<\/p>\n

A lot of the issues that you then see, a vet may see, are down to poor husbandry or slightly something that is not quite right. And it may just be down to the type of sand that you use in the vivarium, or the temperature<\/a> of the bulb that you use to keep them warm, or the location of the bulb in their vivarium. It is, as I say, really important to understand the basic requirements for reptiles before you get them and you can hopefully avoid any of the potential health<\/a> issues that come if you are getting the husbandry right.<\/p>\n
