We train in first aid and CPR without thinking, but we do not learn how to adapt this life skill to our pets.

This course mainly covers dogs since it is not possible to list every type of animal for every skill. The basic care is the same for all animals. Also, we summarise the differences during the course.

Cat care is similar to dog care. The basics are the same so we have not provided them individually.

No first aid course or book can replace the need for prompt veterinary care. If an animal is ill or injured, it should be transported to a vet as soon as possible. Learning Pet First Aid is not a replacement for immediate veterinary care.
